ABOUT MICHAEL HAYON
As a former college basketball player with over four years of experience in basketball operations, player development, scouting, and analytics, I am a passionate and skilled professional who strives to make a positive impact in the basketball industry. As the Director of Basketball Operations at Dashletics, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, promote the services and bring in clients, assist in finding gym time, design and print business cards, and help establish and create partnerships for the company. I also have a strong background in basketball player development, assisting in training sessions and developing NBA players and their skill sets such as Kevin Durant, Jaylen Brown, Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns, Coby White, Christian Wood, Cuttino Mobley, O.G Anunoby, Jalen Green, Michael Carter-Williams, Torrey Craig and more. I designed and executed specific training drills and sessions for over a dozen individual athletes to improve their athletic skill set and mental awareness. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience as a basketball regional scout intern at Between the Lines Sports, LLC, where I provided advanced scouting reports on NBA prospective high school and college basketball athletes, contributed to mock draft boards, and wrote in-depth scouting reports and analysis on over 10 prospects. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from Yeshiva University, where I learned to apply strategic solutions to help increase performance and maximize a company’s full potential and efficiency. I have also developed extensive interpersonal and problem-solving skills that serve well in the field of marketing. Basketball is my first love and I would relish any opportunity to work in something I am extremely passionate about.
