ABOUT MICHAEL HALVORSON

Strategic Director of the Engineering Management Platform for Integration, Realization, and Execution (EMPIRE) and current intern with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Subject matter expert in project management, systems engineering, heat transfer, spacecraft design, and ontologies. Former NASA Research Fellow and former Chief Engineer for the Alabama CubeSat Initiative. I graduated a double bachelor’s in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Auburn University, a master’s of Mechanical Engineering with a 4.0 from Auburn University, and am currently a doctoral candidate of Aerospace Systems Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
