In my current role, I conduct fund analysis and due diligence to manage investment lineups for variable annuity and life products. I drive menu enhancements through performance evaluation and strategic fund relationships. I conduct comprehensive competitor menu analysis by evaluating a range of advanced metrics, including fund composition, expense ratios, risk-adjusted performance (such as Sharpe and Sortino ratios), and Morningstar ratings. This detailed research identifies key strengths, weaknesses, and strategic opportunities for continuous improvement within our investment lineups. I have developed comprehensive peer and internal benchmarking dashboards to inform menu enhancements and sales strategy. I also build custom portfolios and asset allocation models using Morningstar Direct, optimizing for performance, risk metrics (Sharpe, Sortino), cost, and revenue potential. Additionally, I support institutional sales efforts by producing advisor-facing materials, portfolio simulations, and market insights. I collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and research teams to identify trends, position new fund launches, and create competitive intelligence.
