About Michael Gulinello
At the New York City Police Department, I lead the Strategic Technology Division and coordinate the UAS operations for the city. I am responsible for implementing and integrating innovative technologies and systems that enhance public safety and operational efficiency. With over two years of experience as the Commanding Officer of the Life Safety Systems Division, I managed the installation and maintenance of over E-911 devices and radio frequency equipment across the city. I have strong project management and RF skills, as well as a passion for advancing the use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for law enforcement and emergency response purposes. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the Federal Aviation Administration, to ensure compliance and best practices for UAS operations.
