Operate and manage a private last mile fleet and warehouse as a contractor to Comcast, Inc. Check in all inbound shipments against the wave schedule. Make sure all trucks are loaded with the correct deliveries for the day. Keep the warehouse stock rotated using FIFO. Make sure 5S is done daily in the warehouse. Keep up with driver training, HOS and discipline. Conduct safety meetings every week along with tool box talks. Interact with customer to make sure all deliveries are done to their satisfaction (white glove service). Create service plans to fix any delivery errors. Hire new drivers and warehouse staff as necessary. Maintain KPI\'s and P&L statements for immediate supervisors. Deliver routes when staffing is short.
