ABOUT MICHAEL GREEN

As a Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson, I lead a multidisciplinary team of wet-lab and dry-lab scientists focused on improving the survival and quality of life for people with B-cell malignancies. Using a combination of cutting-edge genomics/epigenomics, single cell and spatial profiling, CRISPR gene editing, primary tumors, patient derived xenograft models, and genetically engineered mouse models, we draw mechanistic insight into drivers of lymphomagenesis and resistance to therapy through parallels to normal germinal center biology and immunology. In my role as Vice Chair for Research and Director of the Lymphoid Malignancies Program, I lead lymphoma translational research and contribute to our integrated translational and clinical research strategy.
