   The Executive Director is the face of the Ohio Energy Project (OEP) in all aspects of advocacy, fundraising and promotion of programs. The Executive Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for OEP, including but not limited to execution of mission and vision, development and expansion of fundraising and business plans, and oversight of all programs and operations. The person will report directly to the organization’s Board of Directors.• Responsible for planning, organization and direction of operations and programming.• Lead, develop, and retain OEP staff; effectively delegate and support organizational responsibilities. Conduct annual review for each staff member.• Design and maintain strategic business plan aimed at sustaining OEP’s long-term success.• Develop and oversee revenue generating activities to support existing operations and expansion.• Develop and nurture a strong and diverse network of partners, funders, and community stakeholders to support OEP programs and operations.• Develops and implements consistent inventory and cost accounting policies, procedures and operational reporting/metrics.• Coordinates and leads annual budget reviews, monthly and quarterly reviews and periodic forecast updates with operational and senior management.• Ensure ongoing programming excellence and maintain regular evaluation strategies; clearly and effectively report measured program outcomes to the Board, funding partners and other constituents.• Develop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Trustees; serve as an ex-officio member of each Board committee; regularly meet with Board members and maintain strong relationships; effectively communicate needs of organization to the Board.
