Identification of commissioning activities, preparation of documentation and production of work packs. Compiling of risk assessments, inspection and test reports, red line mark ups, close out reports, raising site instructions, site queries, data change requests for Zenator completion data base. Liaising with engineering team to identify and implement plant modifications. Reviewing vendor commissioning documentation. My role of Senior Electrical Authorised person entailed the controlling of electrical isolations and isolation certificates. Production of system boundary and Notice of Energisation documents (NOE). Liaising with temporary generator vendors to install and commission 1.5MVA 690V sets supplying module substation switchboards. System walk downs with fabrication were carried out to identify early clearance of punch list items, electrical safety walk downs and inspections were also completed. Supervision and support of technicians and vendors to commission 690v switchboards (Areva) distribution circuits, MCC’s, Gutor 110v D.C. power supply system battery chargers and distribution, Micom protection relays, Circuit Breakers, Gemstart 5 motor control and protection devices, 690v motors, Siemens Dynavert variable speed drives (up to 250KW), lighting and small power circuits. Deputising for Lead Engineer during R&R leave attending meetings and acting as signatory.
