The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Corps, is a training program that prepares young adults for careers in health and public safety. Our mission is to diversify the EMS workforce through leadership development, mentorship, and job training. We offer emergency medical technician (EMT) training, case management, mentorship, community service, professional coaching, and a monthly stipend. We facilitate a 5-month program for two cohorts per year. Each cohort consist of twenty participants from underserved communities. Our core values are courage, character, and commitment, and our motto is \"from the community ready to serve.\" To date, the program has graduated 22 cohorts and over 350+ young adults. Over 250 are working as EMT\'s, firefighters, nurses, community health workers, police officers, health coaches, healthcare technicians, paramedics, and a doctor. Two are currently in medical school, and two are serving our country as military medics.
