ABOUT MICHAEL FOUCHE

Aerospace engineer with 35 years of experience in AI/ML, autonomous flight control, GN & C, drone systems, counter-UAS, and simulation — starting with neural network flight control research at Boeing in 1990.I built and flew AI-controlled drone helicopters using Feed-Forward Neural Networks for both inner-loop attitude control and outer-loop velocity guidance. Four airframes, three powerplant types, all under full autonomous AI control. Patent granted in 2004.Today, I design and build counter-UAS systems, AI threat detection and tracking, drone simulations (3-DOF and 6-DOF), control systems, and avionics hardware integrations. I use Claude AI and Claude Code CLI extensively. A recent 6-DOF visual C-UAS simulation with a full kill-chain sequence was delivered in 3 months using the Claude Code CLI, a process that would have taken approximately 18 months with a traditional engineering team.I also advise independently on autonomous drone programs and have been integrating AI/ML into engineering workflows for over two years.Core technical areas: AI/ML, GN & C, autonomous flight control, C-UAS, drone systems, simulation (3-DOF / 6-DOF), control systems, sensor integration, MATLAB, C/C++, Python, React, NVIDIA Jetson, Claude AI / Claude Code CLI.Active DISS secret clearance. Auburn University, Aerospace Engineering, 1986.
