About Michael Forehand

With over two decades of experience in the aviation industry, I am currently serving as the Deputy Director of Support & Services at Embraer Executive Jets in Melbourne, FL. My role involves direct supervision of Field Support Representatives, leading VSS presentations for demos, spec sessions, and corporate events, and managing budgeting approvals and travel expenses. I am the primary contact for FSR/CAM escalations, support aircraft sales, coordinate team training, and ensure key accounts are managed properly and timely.From 2020 to 2023, I served as the Program Manager at West Star Aviation, overseeing the Embraer MRO program. I managed a multi-shift MRO team, developed and sustained the program, and worked closely with managers of various departments to exceed company goals. I also led Lean projects to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.My career at Embraer Executive Jets began in 2012, where I have held various roles including Senior Manager of Production/Programs, Supervisor of Production Maintenance, and Customer Maintenance Support Representative. In these roles, I managed multidisciplinary teams, coordinated materials and resources, tracked production performance, and developed tracking tools to monitor and limit overtime.I hold an Associate\'s Degree in Science in Aviation Maintenance from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and have completed various training programs including Falcon Initial Training, ERJ 145/135 Initial Training, Phenom 100 & 300 Familiarization & Boeing 737 Familiarization.I am passionate about continuous improvement and have been actively involved in Lean process development throughout my career. My extensive experience in the aviation industry has equipped me with a deep understanding of aircraft maintenance, customer service, and team management.
