About Michael Ehlers
I am a versatile, collaborative and analytically-driven Human Resources professional with leadership experience as a HR Director, HR Business Partner and HR Manager at two Fortune 100 technology companies. I am passionate about organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management and have a Master\'s Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois\' School of Labor and Employment Relations. I joined Microsoft in September of 2011 and have supported a variety of complex and interesting organizations with unique challenges. Currently, I am a SR HR Director, supporting Microsoft\'s Office Product Group, where I partner with the executive leadership team to plan and implement HR strategies and initiatives to achieve business objectives and foster cultural aspirations. More specifically, I am responsible for the development and execution of talent management, organizational effectiveness, & culture initiatives for the organization of approximately 3800 employees. I partner with the OPG leadership team to make their organization successful, function effectively and continuously evolve to be a great place to work!Before joining Microsoft, I graduated from IBM\'s Human Resources Leadership Development Program where I partook in three rotational assignments designed to facilitate development and foster experience and exposure into diverse fields within HR including the HR line, Workforce and Talent Programs, and Recruiting.
