Negotiating contracts with various carriers from Small Parcel, LTL, FTL, and International Freight Forwarders to insure quality, incentive discounts, and spot rates. Developing routing guides for all warehouse locations so that we can capture the most competitive price on certain lanes. For 2019 the current routing guide is capturing a savings for Stampede in the amount of $695(K). Responsible for Import/Export Compliance Management Programs and staying up to date on all matters of International Trade. Employee Management setting daily goals, tasks, and accomplishments for a Logistics Team comprised of 2 people. Timely completion of employees appraisals, career development opportunities, and training. Completion of financial reports, savings projects, and analytics, to insure the freight budget stays well within expected guidelines by offering solutions and programs which offer best practice suited for the business. Continuous Improvement is a main focus. Strong knowledge of Navision, SAP, and CRM.
