About Michael Dionne
I spent 16 years in critical care — cardiac catheterization labs and ICUs — before I understood what was happening in my own nervous system. After the Army and years of high-stakes clinical work, I was eventually diagnosed with PTSD. Not from combat. From training, and from the accumulated weight of a career spent in environments where showing any sign of struggle isn\'t an option. Which means I also understand exactly how many veterans and first responders quietly tell themselves their experience doesn\'t qualify. That\'s not how trauma works. I went back to school, earned my DNP, and built Reforge Psychiatry — a telehealth psychiatric practice designed specifically for veterans, service members, and first responders. Not a general practice that sees anyone. A focused one, built around the people I know and the presentations I understand from the inside. Reforge combines precise medication management with evidence-based integrative pharmacology — including nutraceuticals where the evidence supports it — and warm referrals to vetted trauma therapists, ketamine providers, and TMS specialists. For patients with treatment-resistant depression, I provide a full candidacy evaluation and coordinated referral to local ketamine or Spravato providers. The science on PTSD has moved significantly. Most veterans haven\'t been told that yet. Currently licensed in California, New Hampshire, New York, and Idaho.
