About Michael Diaz
Michael Diaz, CFA, Director, is a member of the BlackRock Solutions Relationship Management Group. Mr. Diaz is responsible for managing the firm\'s relationships with clients of BlackRock Solutions\' enterprise investment system, Aladdin, and has implemented clients that represent over $3.7 trillion in assets, liabilities, and derivatives on the system. Clients implemented include banks, asset managers, insurance companies, GSEs, REITs, government, public pensions, and private funds. Mr. Diaz joined BlackRock in 1997 as an analyst in the Data Integrity Group, eventually leading the group. With the beginning of Aladdin for external clients, he moved into Relationship Management and implemented the first Aladdin client. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Diaz served three years in the US Army leading a sniper squad, graduating Top Gun from the 5th Special Forces sniper school, as well as graduating from Ranger school.
