Founder of Steered Straight, Inc, a non-profit organization formed in Michael DeLeon has taught his cautionary tale to over 16 million students, young adults, and community members about the extreme dangers of drugs, vaping, gang involvement, bullying, and criminal activity. At the same time, he stresses the importance of consequential thinking to avoid severe and life-long consequences. Michael also conducts unmatched Professional Development Workshops to educate teachers, administrators, and professional staff on identifying behaviors, laws, and consequences surrounding the issues at hand. Community Education sessions are targeted at parents to address problems embedded in the social conditions of today\'s youth. All sessions explain the etiology, prevalence, potential consequences, and prevention/intervention methods.Stay In Your Lane Media, founded by Michael in 2012, has produced four award-winning documentaries,\"Kids Are Dying,\"\"An American Epidemic,\"\"Marijuana X,\" and \"Road to Recovery.\" Two new documentaries will be released within the upcoming months,\"Higher Power\" and \"Without a Roof,\" about homelessness, which is currently in post-production.A solid and essential advocate for ending the addiction pandemic that is affecting so many of our youth, Michael had worked with numerous organizations around the Country, testified before Congress, and led coalition work intending to bring treatment to those in need, advocate for a continuum of care and promote Recovery. He founded \"Recovery Army,\" a national organization on Tour throughout the Country, to change the conversation about addiction and Recovery.
