   Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, contractors, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products, as our highest priority.Engage with outside A2 contractors working onsite to ensure HES knowledge and compliance.Evaluate non-resident contractor performance, including quality & safety performance. Perform frequent audits of contractors and the permitting process to ensure HES knowledge and compliance.Responsible for the implementation of capital projects for the site. This includes ensuring proper site coverage for any contract work being performed on the site.Set priorities on project construction activities to assure continuing plant operations with minimum downtime while maintaining responsibility for Plant Key Measures (overtime, downtime, call-outs).Coordinate with Production, Technical, and Maintenance groups to ensure accurate and efficient completion of project construction activities.Assign jobs and provide field supervision to capital contract personnel on daily work activities as well as plant outages.Supervise and coach the Capital Planner to ensure that all work is performed according to job plan.Evaluate and ensure material requisitions, work plans, and schedules are being utilized as planned.Participate in the design of projects involving both Capital and Expense funding, and assist with any improvements and efficiencies to cost control, equipment, and process.Assist the project organization in developing and managing schedules for projects and outages.Oversee project material storage and handling in preparation for field execution.
