ABOUT MICHAEL DAVIES
Medical Affairs professional with over 19 years of broad pharmaceutical industry experience. My academic training and work experiences have focused on the areas of metabolism, endocrinology, and cardiovascular disease. I have had the opportunity to participate in pre-launch and launch activities for many brands in the diabetes (type 1 and type 2; Januvia, Invokana, and sotagliflozin) and cardiovascular therapeutic areas (sotagliflozin, Nexletol, Nexlizet, Vytorin, and Zetia). I have worked nearly all facets of a Medical Affairs career from publication strategy and execution, life cycle management with data generation activities and clinical studies, advisory board strategy and execution, and KOL relationship building and management. My experiences have led to more than 80 authored or co-authored manuscripts and over 300 abstracts and scientific presentations in the areas of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
