Some of my job responsibilities include- Reading and proofreading college essays to ensure maximum potential for college acceptance- Creating and presenting slides that deal with topics such as financial aid, college essay tips, personal experiences, etc- Being a pleasant and supportive mentor for adolescents while navigating through the sometimes-complex process of college admissions- Assisting students with navigating the layout of admission portals and FAFSA applications- Organizing student data using Google Sheets - Scheduling appointments with students to provide support for college applications and financial aid- Work alongside fellow mentors, counselors, and teachers to ensure student achievement
