Mobile/Semi-Permanent Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Analysis • Evaluated multiple vendors for the emerging thrust of the BESS industry focused on temporary, transportable, mobile and semi-permanent BESSs • Identified the recommended supplier of the mobile BESS technology • Worked closely with the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) team to prepare a report communicating operational models and the benefit-cost analysis to the utility client Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and BESS Pilot Project • Conducted a site visit along with the DER team to assess the research and development lab of the utility client with the goal of expanding the lab work to a field pilot deployment • Evaluated multiple EVSE vendors and coordinated with colleagues to implement EV direct current (DC) fast chargers along with a BESS at a NEVI (National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) qualified site
