About Michael Crooke
Michael Crooke is Executive Director in the Wells Fargo Middle Market Commercial Banking Group based in Raleigh, NC. In the Metro NY market, Crooke spent seven years, from 20••••20, leading the NYC Emerging Middle Market Group P&L as Commercial Banking Leader and Business Banking Manager. Crooke was responsible for the entire relationship team including Commercial RMs, BDOs, associates and analysts in the acquisition, management, and growth of complex operating companies in addition to financing NY Metro based real estate investors. Michael\'s New York territory included commercial banking offices in Manhattan, Long Island, NY and an Outer Burroughs office in Queens, NY.As a career commercial banker, Crooke has over 17-years of diverse experience that includes management/leadership as a NYC Commercial Banking Leader as well as commercial relationship management, credit underwriting, portfolio management and customer service. Michael began his career in the Raleigh/Durham, NC market as a commercial credit analyst for a regional commercial bank prior to joining Wells Fargo in early 2011.Crooke is a recipient of the 2025 Triangle Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award and Crain\'s New York 2020 Rising Stars in Banking & Finance. Michael is also a 40-Under-40 Leadership Award recipient and Magna Cum Laude graduate of the College of Business at East Carolina University. Michael proudly serves on the Board of Directors of the East Carolina University Alumni Association and CED (Council for Entrepreneurial Development).
