In addition, I serve several others roles including:* Lead Managing Director on several financial statement audits in which I oversee the assessment, evaluation and testing of information technology internal controls.* Lead Managing Director on numerous quality assessment reviews of organizations’ existing internal audit functions. This has included evaluating the structure, performance, efficiency, effectiveness and value of internal audit departments.* Lead Managing Director on Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 compliance efforts including guiding clients with the identification and documentation of key controls, assessment of the design of controls, testing the operating effectiveness of controls, identifying control gaps and working on remediation efforts.* Deloitte Advisory Quality Reviewer, responsible for reviewing internal audit-related materials prior to issuance to our clients to validate that the product is of high quality and value.* Frequent guest speaker at Bentley University.* Frequent guest presenter at professional organizations including IIA, AHIA and HFMA.
