Our society doesn\'t function when it fails to effectively communicate. But when we do it well, great things can happen. I like to help make those things happen. I fell hard for the thrill of broadcasting in Plattsburgh, New York, landed my first job in TV as a junior in college and spent the next seven years reporting for local evening newscasts across the US. After that, I moved to DC and met the second passion of my professional life - the ocean. Since then, I\'ve been helping protect the marine life we can’t live without. Today, I\'ve expanded my professional experience to include program management and operations leadership within a large, multi-national NGO.
