I am a highly client focused Training and Competency Consultant with a varied knowledge of the Financial Planner world. I have gained experience in several Training and Technical roles with both Directly Authorised Firms and Networks. I look to add additional support to your Compliance/Training and Competency team on a consultancy basis and help businesses to achieve their requirements under the annual Fit and Proper Regime and the Certification Regime.As a strong communicator I specialise in observing live client meetings and providing honest, constructive feedback to try and help develop the Financial Planner and enhance the client experience. Through my years working directly with Financial Planners I am very conscious of the challenges they face and deal with the sometimes feared concept of observations with sensitivity and a well-developed sense of humour.Over the Last 20 years I have enjoyed a varied financial services career across a T&C Supervision, Paraplanning, Paraplanning Management and SIPP Management and have supported Financial Planners all through my career. Alongside my observation experience I am also able to provide development support with role plays, case studies, compliance inductions and I have a lot of experience with training advisers and support staff on a number of advice related computer systems.Although I am based in the South West, I am happy work Nationally to support like-minded businesses.
