I am Mike Cotto, a graphic designer with over 25 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of working with great Houston companies, such as Salata Salad Kitchen, Fiesta Mart, Randalls, Sysco Corp, Star Furniture, and the musical group “La Mafia.” I enjoy the creative process and solving problems through the art of graphic design. I believe that a graphic designer should be both innovative and adaptable, always offering fresh perspectives while also building on the input of others. Once a concept or direction is established, it is vital to deliver the most effective and faithful representation of the brand\'s vision. I have encountered a wide range of scenarios in my career, from serving as a production artist who meticulously follows branding guidelines to innovating new concepts weekly while collaborating with merchandisers, marketing teams, copywriters, and advertising agencies. My experience spans both highly structured environments and those that give me the freedom to establish criteria, creativity, and processes. I consider it a success when the intended goal, message, and outcome are achieved through the execution of visual content and words. A design can be simple yet effective or complex but still impactful; however, the quality of beauty always brings harmony to all the elements, creating a great experience.
