ABOUT MICHAEL COMRIE

I am a Licensed Insolvency Trustee with a focus on Consumer Insolvency. Day to day, I meet with individuals, families and small business owners who are dealing with difficult financial situations and provide guidance to help find their way back to financial stability. I have an empathetic approach that creates an atmosphere of openness which I believe is crucial to ensuring honest dialogue and effective communication. My attention to detail and straightforward approach makes for a solid foundation when sorting out often complicated situations which require deep analysis. Known by my colleagues as having a deep understanding of the law we labour under, I believe this positions me well to provide informed advice and detailed information to those who seek it. It has been my privilege over the last 15 years to provide the help I do; whether it be assisting an individual restructure their debt and set goals for a brighter future or helping a business owner mired in tax debt find a way to preserve their valued business while shedding unwanted liability or helping a family create a realistic budget that ensures they won\'t be living paycheque to paycheque, and I look forward to many more years of the same.
