I created FlowFrame to solve the exact problems I face every day as a performing trombonist and educator: tracking progress and handling rhythms and tunings. The result is a musician-centric practice platform that functions like a Swiss Army knife, merging an advanced metronome, a flexible drone/tuning engine, and a Duolingo-style practice tracker into one clean, shareable workflow. What I do:Product vision & UX• Translate 20 years of contemporary-music experience (Alarm Will Sound, chamber ensembles, conservatory teaching) into an intuitive React-based interface that handles nested tuplets, metric modulations, just-intonation drones, quarter-tone tuning, and more.Full-stack development• Architect and code the platform (React, Tone.js, Node, Firebase/Firestore), ship weekly iterations, and maintain a minimalist, musician-friendly design ethos.Go-to-market & growth• Own branding, content, social media, pricing, and partnerships with universities, private studios, and ensembles. Drive user research and feedback loops that keep FlowFrame evolving “built-with-you” style.Business operations• Formed FlowFrame LLC, manage Stripe subscription payments, oversee customer support, and handle P&L while keeping the roadmap focused on sustainable musician-first growth. Why it mattersFlowFrame’s core belief (there is no one right way to make music) guides every feature. By giving artists structure without prescribing method, we empower them to practice smarter, teach more effectively, and ultimately make better music.
