About Michael Chaney

I am currently working as a system engineering lead in the aerospace, defense and government sector creating custom test system hardware and software while also driving continuous improvement to workflow tooling and processes.I previously managed a high-performing team tasked with driving excellence into all processes of design, build, and delivery of NI\'s Semiconductor Test System (STS). I worked with all departments at NI involved in the design, build, sales, and marketing of STS to leverage my team\'s decades of combined experience in semiconductor test to innovate and expand into the semiconductor market.My engineering expertise is in automated test software for high-volume manufacturing. In my previous role as a Principal Systems Engineer, I was responsible for defining architectures for production test executives based on NI\'s TestStand and LabVIEW software platforms, as well as ensuring seamless integration with third-party Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and data analysis software. I also leveraged my expertise in Source Code Control (SCC) and Configuration Management (CM) to help customers architect complete software management chains from test development to factory deployment. I hold a Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University with a minor in Mathematics.
