   Most recently, I transitioned into a role focused on enhancing claim-quality outcomes within Workers’ Compensation across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Responsible for overseeing claim operations throughout the Southeast region, I ensure the quality, consistency, and efficiency of the claim handling process across our three office locations in Charlotte, NC; Richmond, VA; and Washington, DC. In this capacity, I manage the performance, development, and engagement of 10 unit managers and a director.One of my key achievements has been the transformation of the Southeast region from siloed operations into a cohesive and aligned group. For example, by ensuring that employees are licensed in all four states rather than just one, I’ve created a more flexible and collaborative environment where resources can be easily shared as needed, leading to improved outcomes and a more unified team.Additionally, I’ve collaborated closely with the Workers’ Compensation Product team to develop and implement new strategies focused on areas such as permanency, onboarding, and digital tools. These efforts have not only improved our claim handling processes but have also enhanced our overall approach to Workers’ Compensation in the region.
