Michael Casey 40+ year career spans across mass, department, specialty, drug, grocery, & wholesale distribution channels. During his 30+ year career with retail giants Wal-Mart, Kmart, & Bass Pro Shops, he worked up from hourly associate to store management to corporate office, heading large merchandise operation teams. He designed, created, & managed Wal-Mart’s first automated inventory management replenishment process, controlling $7B+ in inventory & $600MM+ in weekly purchasing. As a V.P. in Kmart’s Merchandising, he lead merchandise operations, replenishment, and inventory management. As a V.P. in Kmart\'s Information Systems, he rose to directly beneath the CIO, overseeing merchandising systems.A Senior Partner at Diversified Retail Solutions (DRS) advisory firm, he engineered merchandising operational processes for Central/South American retailers Siman, Ripley, & Falabella (Tottus)Senior Logistics Operations & Planning Manager for Dealer Tire, an automotive industry top distributor, he pioneered import purchasing practices, led inventory purchasing/logistics teams, & designed/implemented business analytical systems A Managing Director at FTI Consulting, he innovated labor planning, merchandise product life cycle planning, & decision support enhancements for many retail/consumer product companies, including PepBoys, Lane Bryant, Dressbarn, & R.G.
