Michael Carney, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office, defends high stakes litigation matters in all state and federal courts throughout Florida. Matters include wrongful death and catastrophic injury negligence claims, employment practices, product liability suits, ADA, professional malpractice issues and civil and administrative proceedings involving pollution, toxic torts and governmental inquiries relating to violations of state and federal environmental laws and statutes. Since joining Kubicki Draper in 1998, Mike has developed a reputation as one of the areas most prolific and successful trial practitioners. He has vast experience in front of juries and prides himself on his track record of results. Mike has taken in excess of 70 jury trials to verdict.A number of Mike\'s clients engage him state-wide to handle high exposure litigation matters. Mike\'s case list includes matters in litigation throughout Florida from the Panhandle to the Keys. In addition, clients often turn to Mike with a trial looming and the stakes high when settlement talks have ceased.
