Security and safety are in my DNA. As a military and law enforcement veteran, I’ve become skillful in establishing and maintaining a robust security and safety infrastructure to safeguard employees and assets across global organizations. Whether piloting special programs and projects or implementing rigorous policies and standards, my goal is to build a culture of safety and security awareness and preparedness.In the field of security management, a proactive and analytical approach is critical to mitigating risk. Threats come in many forms and can strike at any moment. Companies must have clear plans in place to protect every aspect of a business. I collaborate cross-functionally to examine an organization’s needs, identify gaps in protection, and develop uniform security and safety plans to prevent incidents.Among my colleagues, I’ve built a reputation as a security and safety subject matter expert, particularly in training and mentoring others. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Executed 6 major data center security implementation projects for Iron Mountain with budgets ranging up to $1MM; selected, designed and implemented CCTV, card access and key control systems, along with integrating security systems and teams following site acquisitions. Prevented, tracked and responded quickly to instances of workplace violence through developing an enterprise-wide, regionally focused program.
