I am a licensed pharmacist and practicing attorney, and concentrate my practice on medical malpractice defense and complex civil litigation. I am frequently retained on cases involving adverse medication reactions or alleged medication errors. I have served as lead counsel in a wide variety of matters including pharmacy care, primary care, chiropractic care, surgical complications, emergency department care, birth injuries, nursing home care and group home facilities. I also assist clients with complex civil litigation matters involving premises liability, and workplace and campus security. I additionally represent clients in disputes or concerns involving administrative and regulatory agencies including the North Carolina Board of Medicine, the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy, the North Carolina Board of Nursing, the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the American Medical Association, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. I attempt to use my own experiences as a healthcare provider, small business owner and practicing attorney to provide a comprehensive approach to my client’s needs. I have represented clients and tried cases throughout North Carolina and have been involved in claims exceeding $10 Million Dollars.
