Hi! I’m Michael Bucalo, and I’m the President and Owner of Friedrich Watkins of Tampa, LLC.(FWC), a commercial contractor dedicated to building the kinds of projects that shape communities, like theme parks, campuses, healthcare environments, and nonprofit facilities.Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of leading complex, high-impact projects for institutions like Busch Gardens, ZooTampa, Florida Aquarium, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the University of South Florida, UTampa, Tampa Bay Lightning, and multiple regional school districts, projects that demand technical excellence, strong partnerships, and clear, collaborative communication.Our approach is grounded in one simple philosophy: people first. Our clients trust us because we answer the phone, we show up, and we deliver with integrity. Many have partnered with FWC for over a decade.I’m proud to be recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 honoree by Tampa Bay Business Journal, a 2025 Philanthropist of the Year finalist, an Apogee Award winner, and ABC Gulf Coast’s 2021 Next Gen Leader.
