As an experienced and highly-skilled analytical scientist and biochemist, I have an extensive background leading high-performance research teams within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently I’m the Biochemical Scientist II and Lab Manager for MilliporeSigma in Bedford, Massachusetts, where I help the company produce products and services for analytics and sample preparations that are used in the research, development, and manufacturing of biotechnological and pharmaceutical drug therapies. During my career I have developed and utilized methods to research product quality attributes of a variety of proteins including monoclonal antibodies, antibody drug conjugates, fusion, hormones, enzymes, and peptides. Some of my highlighted skills include analytical method development, biotechnology and bioanalysis, qualification and validation, and team leadership/training. I am self-motivated, analytical, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator that is equally comfortable working in independent or collaborative environments. Some of my accomplishments in the scientific field include: Developing and utilizing validated analytical methods and assays to monitor process impurities and product quality attributes during downstream and upstream processing of mAbs and recombinant proteins. Improving quality control endotoxin testing for manufacturing and helping to validate numerous assays for membrane manufacturing. Writing and developing numerous protocols for biological assays and becoming a scientific expert on endotoxin-specific questions and assays.
