ABOUT MICHAEL BROWNE

I have worked across a broad and diverse range of disciplines in the health and social care and voluntary sector for over 20 years. I am passionate around working to improve the lives of the most vulnerable, marginalised and socially excluded members of our society, prioritising the safety of children and adults at risk, whilst empowering individuals to regain control of their lives. I believe systems are only as effective as the quality of the people in them and the relationships they have with each other. I strive to ensure that support and interventions are delivered with compassion and respect for dignity, and that survivor voices are front and centre in shaping policy and practice. I have a strong background and proven track record in improving successful outcomes for beneficiaries, providing assurance judgement to a range of regulators at national level, new business implementation, relationship management, quality improvement and service and workforce development.
