Over 20 years facilitation and collective leadership experience with the Mankind Project, a non-profit worldwide network of communities that facilitate men\'s personal development in the areas of leadership, accountability and integrity through a facilitated weekend training and continuous, ongoing, peer-assisted growth.This work is exclusively with men as I believe that an essential element of the raising of consciousness and environmental redemption we currently require is the need to address the shadow of the archetypal masculine mode of being. The key challenge for every man is to break free of the cultural indoctrination of patriarchy and take leadership in fostering positive change.My experience of working with men has led me to believe that there are particular and vital issues related to masculinity which remain unaddressed in mainstream education and seldom acknowledged in our culture. These contribute directly to excess violence, depression, irresponsibility and unbounded egotism in men with a consequent impact on society. I have a particular interest in establishing a Rites of Passage centre for young men as an alternative to prison.
