Chair Gilead Political Action Committee (PAC), which has increased in size over 140% since 2022 and 31% in 2024. Five-time \"Top Lobbyist,\" The Hill.• Chairman, International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) Council, the governing body of the global biopharmaceutical industry trade association. • Led team that developed and executed several advocacy campaigns in the US that resulted in the reversal of proposed federal policies threatening access to innovative HIV medicines.• Led development of “inside-the-beltway” advertising campaign to increase awareness of the company’s history and accomplishments as an innovator. Metrics validated campaign’s success.• Led team that managed government interactions related to the development, donation, procurement, reimbursement and distribution of Veklury (remdesivir), the first FDA-approved novel Covid-19 therapeutic. Gilead secured first-ever EU Joint Procurement Agreement for remdesivir. • Directed FOCUS, an impactful nationwide, community-based public health partnership with state and local governments and health care providers recognized by the US Centers for Disease Control.
