Michael the Founder of SEAFARM Bahamas, a non-profit organization based in The Bahamas focused on aquaculture and sustainable livelihood development through education, applied research and equitable access to experiences. He has previously worked in aquaculture, food system development, conservation, ecotourism and outdoor education. Michael developed his passion for aquaculture, conservation and equity through his experiences growing up in The Bahamas. He recieved his Masters in sustainable aquaculture from The University of Plymouth and his PhD from The University of Exeter.
