Project Manager, Information Systems· Responsible for Project Management Office of health system with 20+ facilities, including 100 bed hospital in DeKalb, IL· Created project tracking system for reporting of project and resource management to system leadership· Work with all departments of the system to research, test, and implement all technologies to provide the best patient care and provide the highest efficiency of business operations· Manage all large scope projects, including those involving multi-discipline engagement with large organizational impact, reaching technological arm of all departments Key Accomplishments· Led Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) initiative, educating and integrating over 200 physicians to technology to reduce order error by submitting all orders electronically; Project included nursing, order entry and receptions staffs.· Successfully integrated electronic medical record system for both Home Health and Hospice divisions; negotiated vendor contract and partnered with vendor to bring departments on to electronic systems· Expertly managed $20M+ acquisition/merger of KishHealth System and DeKalb Clinic in early 2015; responsibilities included project management and oversight of entire project which included legal representation, leadership, and twelve functional teams of the entities; managed and reported status via consistent updates and specially design project site; successfully completed project on time with an outreach to over patients
