This role includes direct oversight of production schedules, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance from groundbreaking through homeowner orientation and final occupancy.Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring all phases of homebuilding are completed efficiently and to specification. • Establish and maintain build times for each home plan, adjusting schedules as needed to meet production goals. • Create and distribute detailed construction schedules to ensure adherence to projected build timelines. • Monitor progress, conduct regular inspections, and enforce quality control standards to ensure each home meets DR Horton specifications and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate with trade partners, suppliers, inspectors, and internal team members to resolve issues and maintain consistent workflow. • Ensure all homes are completed on schedule and are fully prepared for homeowner orientation and occupancy. • Address and resolve job site concerns or delays, proactively identifying potential issues to maintain momentum and quality. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite, adhering to all OSHA and company safety standards. • Provide regular updates and reports to upper management regarding job status, timelines, and potential risks. • Foster positive working relationships with internal departments, trade partners, and homeowners to support DR Horton’s reputation for excellence.
