ABOUT MICHAEL BOOKATZ

A Software Engineer Manager whose core focus is to meet clients real business needs through initial consultation, followed by a communicative and collaborative approach. Delivers applications using C#.net and MS SQL Server. Comfortable working independently, in a team, or mentoring to meet deadlines irrelevant of pressure. I have delivered application that use AngularJS, Javascript, HTML, Winforms, WPF and windows services. I incorporate Design patterns and Unit testing wherever possible. I have always been interested in technology since I was a young child starting to program when I was only 5 years old and structured my studies from the age of 16 in order to pursue a career as a software developer. The recent advances in the development space have been particular exciting, especially around the area of web development and cloud computing.For web development the rise of typescript, Angular 4, react\\redux and other JavaScript frameworks has led to exciting applications on the web with the power of old desktop applications. Cloud computing has brought the power of server farms and grid computing within reach of companies that previously couldn’t harness such power enabling them to run simulation and data process on a per-use basis without having the outlay for server that would sit idle for long periods of time. In addition the infrastructure of cloud competing enables companies to have a robust system by default with inbuilt redundancies and disaster recovery.I have a passion to keep learning and to grow my knowledge in order that I can deliver the best results and audited\\taken various courses using Coursera, Edx, MIT OCW and Safari online.
