For 25+ years as a Finance leader, I\'ve been dedicated to making a positive impact at growing technology-oriented companies in healthcare, SaaS, and retail industries. I\'ve built high-performing finance teams that have raised the bar on engagement and accountability across the organization, which have helped unlock step-change P&L improvements. A key focus is developing effective leaders and helping my team - and others outside my team - reach their full potential through mentoring and coaching. I\'ve played key roles in IPO, M&A, divestitures, and PE-backed recapitalization efforts, as well as corporate restructurings, downsizings, and implementing new financial systems and tools.While my background spans a variety of companies of different sizes and in different industries, there are a few fundamental constants that I try to maintain:1) Always make a difference. I coach my team to bring a level of professionalism, passion, focus, and follow-through to make wherever I am more successful.2) I strive to treat people with respect and genuine kindness at all times.3) I work to be candid in a productive way. If something seems wrong, either I don\'t understand it well enough or it could be improved, so I tend to speak up and ask questions.4) I am a student. I\'m curious. The more perspectives I can get exposed to, the richer my knowledge base will be. 5) I am a teacher. Our shared success benefits from shared understanding, so I help colleagues learn and grow by building their business acumen and engaging their curiosity.
