ABOUT MICHAEL BLADES

I am a partner and litigation lawyer in Pink Larkin\'s Halifax office. I primarily focus on construction law, including construction contract review mandates and construction litigation such liens and delay claims disputes, as well as a wide range of commercial litigation matters. I also have experience handling insurance and professional negligence and malpractice disputes, as well as disputes concerning municipal law. I have represented clients in all levels of court in Nova Scotia including the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, as well the Residential Tenancies Board and the Utility and Review Board. My trial experience includes matters before both juries and judge-alone, and I routinely represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes including mediations and arbitrations, particularly in the context of construction disputes.
