Implement, enhance and support the Cisco SCM/DevOps environment, with emphasis on Perforce environments. Manage three distributed server deployments for the Security Business Group, serving developers. Develop and support scripts for server triggers, automation, and monitoring. Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve escalated production issues. Integrate SCM with code review systems and with Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). Use Ansible for systems configuration management, Nagios/Prometheus for monitoring, Python for automation, JIRA and Confluence for issue tracking, project management, and documentation. Inially contracted with a larger Engineering IT team responsible for supporting GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket, Gerrit, ClearCase, and Subversion. Worked closely with engineering clients to understand their existing SCM requirements. Establish best practices and procedures for development and support.
