About Michael Besser

I am a white collar defense, government investigations, and commercial litigation attorney at Greenberg Traurig in Dallas, Texas. In my practice I represent companies and individuals being investigated, sued and prosecuted by the government in civil and criminal matters. Although I have a specific focus on assisting clients involved in the health care and financial services industries, I have represented companies and individuals from a variety of industries and all walks of life. My recent work includes representing companies and individuals in the crypto currency space in response to SEC subpoenas and enforcement actions, defending companies and individuals in civil and criminal health care fraud cases and appealing a federal criminal sentence to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.My Pro Bono work includes assisting with appeals in death penalty cases, representing individuals and small companies in civil suits, and advising non-profits on a variety of matters.
