I serve as the Property Manager of this mammoth, community revitalization project that is restoring 9 of the 32 original buildings dating back to 1901 that made up the former Scranton Lace Company. From 1916 to 2002, the Scranton Lace Company remained the first and largest known producer of Nottingham Lace in the United States. Lace Village will feature restaurant/bar, beauty salon & spa, hot yoga studio, provisional market, espresso bar, pickle ball courts, picnic & grilling area, dog park & dog washing stations, access to Lackawanna Heritage River Trail, educational collaborative classroom/workspace, EV charging stations, and bike share program. Residents, visitors and guests will walk along beautifully landscaped walkways, courts, and sidewalks, while appreciating the exterior accent lighting that articulates the bygone features of the 11 acre site.
