About Michael Barger

I’m a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of South Carolina with a passion for solving complex problems through hands-on design, simulation, and critical thinking. During my undergraduate studies, I gained experience in CAD modeling, control systems, and thermal-fluid sciences, and applied these skills in both academic and team-based engineering projects. For example, working with Formula SAE, senior capstone design, and in laboratory settings. I’m now preparing to begin a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, with the goal of advancing my expertise in robotics, autonomous systems, and advanced manufacturing. I enjoy working learning and soaking up as much information and knowledge in the realm of mechanical systems and automation. I’m eager to contribute to real-world challenges in these fields. Whether it’s product design, simulation, or embedded systems, I’m motivated by the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and build things that make an impact and difference in the world.
