Mike was named Vice President in May, 2022. He has been the Global Head of Transmission, Driveline, Axle and Gear Reducers for Stellantis since July, 2021. He is responsible for all Transmissions, Drivelines, Axles and Gear Reducers Engineering including program management globally since 2019. He joined Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as Director of Automatic Transmission Engineering in February 2015. While at FCA, Mike and his team developed the eFlite, the world’s first FWD hybrid minivan transmission for the 2017 Pacifica. He also led the 2nd generation 8 speed RWD transmission launched in the 2017 Grand Cherokee. Previously, Mike spent 32 years at General Motors holding various positions of increasing responsibility. Mike has worked in Manufacturing, Vehicle Launch Center, Advanced and Current Transmission Engineering. He spent 12 years as the Senior Manager/GM Technical Fellow of the New Products and Technical Specialist Group where he was responsible for the design of all new automatic transmissions. Mike has a BSME and MSME from Oakland University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, a PE License, a DFSS black belt, and is a licensed Patent Agent. Mike also holds 8 US patents and has authored numerous papers.
