When my brothers and I took over the company, we were keenly aware of the industry’s need for housing in secondary and tertiary markets throughout the U.S. As millennials, we recognize that many people work from home, and are seeking a flexible lifestyle where they aren’t locked into a specific location for years. We made a shift toward building luxury “live, work, and play” rental communities with a focus on amenities such as pools, dog parks, gyms, and clubhouses. I oversee enterprise marketing, emerging markets, sales, and business development. The Burkentine company has been recognized as a leader in the multifamily housing industry, with 360% growth within the past 3 years, with locations in MD, PA, CT, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, TN. With over units in our pipeline the future of our family office continues to strengthen.
